“ Always a stop when I come to San Antonio! I moved to Austin but this is one of the very few reasons I'd come back to this city. Adding more pictures to showcase how Sari have shown up to my different phases of life. Birthdays, house blessing, simple friend visits from out of town, after church lunches or dinners, potlucks. They never stopped serving the community amidst COVID and I'm not one to forget. Food always amazing. The representation of Philippines cuisine never fails in several outreach programs and activities. I love the ambience and the smiles! While the cuisine Filipino community is growing, which I fervently support---Sari is the goat in SA! ”
“ I have been for lunch at least 4 times. Services is fast and friendly. Plenty of parking. Flavorful meat dishes seasoned to perfection. The little convenience store in the front has all kinds of treats. Decorated with Filipino flare this place is worth a visit ”
“ I was put on to Sari-sari by my aunt who said I need to go check out the "food of her people" after she saw their videos on Tiktok. Lets start off by saying, im sometimes skeptical on "too good to be true, advertising" but boy oh boy did they deliver! The store front when you walk in is kinda cool, lots to look at and explore while waiting for a table, and then you turn the corner into a really authentic feeling space. Super Friendly staff and pretty robust menu for a speciality restaurant. We had the Lumpia and steamed bun to start. The fried Pork Belly Lechon, Chicken Adobo, Sisig, and Halo-Halo Royale for dessert. Everything is served family style and while we let our eyes over order for what our stomachs can handle, it was well worth it. Everything was hot, fresh and DELICIOUS! We will certainly be back, no question about it. I will update my review later, hoping that my wife took pictures of the food, because I cant recall if we gave it enough time to get a picture taken before we were digging in! If you are in the area, believe the Tiktok hype and go here, no hesitations! ”
“ Nice spot with good food, though it took us 3-4 attempts to finally dine here, as we were turned away each time for being too close to closing. I'm glad we finally made it in! The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. While the oxtail dish wasn't my favorite, I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of their other menu options. ”
“ Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We came around 3 so a fairly off time, but there were still quite a few tables taken. We were seated right away, the service was fast and friendly overall This place came across my radar as a spot to try kare kare, as a peanut butter lover this because a must try when I saw it on Beryl Shereshewsky's YouTube channel. It lived up to my expectations as an absolute punch you in the face peanut buttery dish. Having been spoiled by groundnut soup I will say this falls a bit below my hopes for a peanut butter soup. It's definitely going for more of a hearty vibe, but I still think some seasoning would take the dish up a notch. The oxtail was really yummy, but definitely a challenge to eat around the bone I wish I had kept a little more room for dessert, the wide variety of options looked really tasty. The grocery store had a lot of interesting snacks as well! All of that along with a few other dishes on the menu I hadn't heard of will definitely keep it on my radar for future SA visits Overall I'd definitely recommend giving them a try if you live in SA! If you're coming from a place that has a fair number of Filipino restaurants you may be able to find better in your town ”
“ [4.5/5 stars] so incredible and wonderful to have the pleasure to eat here, loved dining here. my favorite part has to be the appetizers, especially the lumpia & the crispy dumplings (5/5). pork bbq skewers (4/5) - were so good except the bbq sauce was a bit too much. palabok (2/5) - presentation was incredible however it lacked flavor, i used sauces on the table to enhance the flavor because it didn't taste like much. bistek (5/5) - bomb . com service: the bestest and so kind. ambiance: so decorative in here & felt so at home, the little details into every corner was perfectly done ”
“ I haven't been here in a few years, but I love everything they've done with it. The dining room is super cute with the Filipino sun & stars on the sliding barn doors. The playground is great for the kids to get energy out before the drive back to Austin. And the store has a great variety of treats to bring back home. Kare Kare is my favorite Filipino dish and this restaurant did not disappoint! I'll be back the next time we visit San Antonio ”
“ Delicious food, wonderful service, beautiful decor. This place checks all the boxes and then some! The market carries a nice variety of items you can enjoy at home and they even have a small playground for the kiddos to play on! I was enthusiastically greeted when I entered and felt so welcomed I could have stayed there all day lol. I ordered the fried milkfish and it was perfect. Typically meant for more than one person, I had leftovers! I took an Ube Chif-flan cake slice home for dessert and it was super yummy. Definitely enjoyed my time and I will definitely be back. You MUST check out this place, I promise you wont regret it! (I started eating before I remembered to take the photo ) ”
“ I haven't had Filipino Food for a long, long time. I heard about this place from My Filipino PT Doctor & I had to try this place. I had the Chicken Adobo Meal & it was absolutely Delicious As I waited for my TOGO order, I browsed around the store plus restaurant. Such a Surprise to see such a colorful & huge restaurant. Everyone & everything was bright & happy here. I'm definitely gonna come back for more food & this time dine in. Super clean decorated bathroom & very stylish restaurant. Loved this place & Loved the food too. Lotsa parking spaces & I can't wait to try more Filipino food in the near future. ”
“ October is Filipino American History Month and today @sarisarisatx were different vendors, meet & greet with Filipino boxer Vicious Vincent and Karilagan Filipino Dance Group. Ryan was our server once again and took care of us. It was nice also to see Danny and Eder Badiola. Dad and his pandan drink, Hubby and I had the Calamansi Limeade. Appetizer with the lumpia. Dad with his favorite Kare-Kare (oxtail) and bagoong. I had the Tocilog. Hubby had the Sinigang (tamarind soup) and the Shrimp Pinakbet. Also Shrimp Fried Rice. Lots of food left over for another meal! Ended the meal with Buko Pandan. We had the best seat in the house, watching the Karilagan Filipino Dance Group! Very festive today! Then Dad had to shop in the store for his favorite snacks! ”
